If the first try fails, test the registered version of the name, a former name, or the prior ZIP after a move. Do not test unrelated people. Contact the county board when a known registration still will not match. Prince George's County also has an alternate tool that accepts either date of birth plus ZIP or a voter ID, but it updates weekly and may show an old office address. Why Langley Park Voter Lookup Is Private
The online check is self-service, not a public voter directory. Its required birth date and residence ZIP act as identity gates. For in-person history viewing, bring proper ID and expect to complete a short form. For exported data, use the county application and its oath. Avoid relying on the alternate lookup's obsolete Peppercorn address. A general Maryland Public Information Act request is not a way around the election-specific access controls. Protected Langley Park Voter Addresses
Maryland does not release every residence address. Election Law §3-506 withholds the residence of a Safe at Home participant. Maryland registration remains permanent while the voter stays eligible in the state and keeps name and address details current. Failure to vote does not cause immediate cancellation. Election offices receive death information each month and cancel a matching record within five business days. Felony reports arrive monthly and trigger notice. An unanswered interstate confirmation can move a record to inactive after 14 days.
Cancellation after inactivity requires no voting or qualifying contact over the next two federal election cycles. That sequence protects against a quick removal based on a single returned notice. It also limits what a researcher can safely infer. Active, inactive, and cancelled are administrative states. None alone establishes a precise move date, a present home, or a person's intent.

Under Election Law §3-506, a full list is available only to a registered Maryland voter who submits a written application and sworn statement for a purpose tied to the electoral process. Follow the ordering sequence carefully:
- Select one geography and one product set. Separate applications are required for multiple lists.
